Staff testimonial - Tom Chalet Driver | 2024-2025

"I have had the most amazing time working for Delicious Mountain in Meribel for my first season this year. It was a very delightful and fulfilling experience from beginning to end. The administration was helpful, friendly and sincerely concerned about making sure the staff and guests had a wonderful season.
Working a season with Delicious Mountain allowed me to completely immerse myself in the breathtaking surroundings and lively environment of Meribel, which is an amazing place. The organisation provides a fantastic work-life balance so that we could enjoy the mountains, and the skiing and snowboarding opportunities were undoubtedly a key highlight. A good time is always indicated by how quickly the season passed!
I truly valued Delicious Mountain's encouragement, the connections made, and the welcoming environment. Although it is a professional and well-run enterprise, it nonetheless had a warm and friendly feel. Anyone searching for a fulfilling and unforgettable season at a stunning ski resort should definitely consider working for Delicious Mountain. I am so thankful for the chance, and it was a truly remarkable experience.
Delicious Mountain, thank you for a season that will never be forgotten, I will be here for the next."

Staff testimonial - Kylie Chalet Chef | 2024-2025 & 2025-2026

"What a season it was! I have just completed my second season working in Meribel and the first for Delicious Mountain as a Chef. The chalets are beautiful! My kitchen was amazing to work in, and with every appliance I could want as a chef.
I was given creative freedom developing the menu for the season alongside the other chef. We had two weeks training at the start of the season which was great for learning the dishes, service steps and also great for team bonding with a fun wine tasting and fondue day.
The team was well staffed ensuring the day to day jobs were done efficiently and to the high standards Delicious Mountain strives for. When I wasn't working I had plenty of free time on the mountain to ski and enjoy the many restaurants in the Three Valleys. I made great friends within the team that I'll keep in touch with!"

Staff testimonial - Kevan Resort Manager | 2024-2025 & 2025-2026

From our amazing chalets, to our friendly team of professionals and our incredible work-life balance! This combination makes for a very successful recipe to ensure you get to truly enjoy your amazing surroundings, as well as thrive in your job role! I felt supported in my role as resort manager and always felt I could ask for advice or guidance whenever needed.

With a name like Delicious Mountain there is a level of expectation to plate a fantastic menu! I can safely say the product designed and delivered definitely ticks this box! With an intensive 2 week training program at the beginning of the season ensured our entire team were set up for success and the consistent delivery through the season truly makes you proud to be part of such team! Onto the next season!"

Delicious Mountain Team busy at work!
Dessert preparation by Delicious Mountain

We asked our team members... What sort of person makes a good Delicious Mountain team member?

To thrive here, you need a sharp eye for exceptional attention to detail, an approachable, friendly manner, and a genuine sense of pride in keeping the chalet immaculate. Being a bit of a perfectionist certainly helps; our standards are incredibly high whether it comes to the cuisine, organisation, or cleanliness. You should take great satisfaction from flawlessly executing your duties, while keeping the sense of humour needed to laugh when the unexpected inevitably happens.

You also need the emotional intelligence to 'read the guests' and instantly adapt to the exact style of hosting they prefer. In some weeks, you will need to be an engaging, warm listener who is happy to chat about almost anything. On other occasions, you must seamlessly blend into the background, delivering flawless, quiet service that allows guests to completely unwind in their surroundings. Sometimes, you might even need to be the energetic spark that helps a mixed group of guests feel at ease with one another.

Ultimately, you should be a naturally positive, resilient person regardless of the weather — that energy keeps the guests, your teammates, and yourself happy.

A structured and methodical approach to your workload in the early weeks will help you lock in the routines that make the job second nature. Because you are interacting with new guests every single week, having an outgoing personality makes your daily life much easier. You will also want that social energy to build a network of friends across the Meribel resort; as much as you will love your teammates, having an outside social circle is crucial for a healthy, balanced ski season.
