Chalet Etoile des Neiges is a beautifully designed alpine retreat, perched in Méribel's quiet Mussillon district and surrounded by forest and mountain views. The chalet welcomes up to 14 guests across six en-suite bedrooms, making it a wonderful choice for families and groups.

Open-plan and light-filled, the living space gathers around a warming log fire, with a galley kitchen and dining area flowing naturally from the lounge. Outside, a sun terrace with an outdoor hot tub and a private sauna offer the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes.

Step inside Chalet Etoile des Neiges and you're welcomed into an open-plan living floor, with comfy sofas gathered around a traditional log fire and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountain views. The galley kitchen opens onto a sociable dining area, while the sun terrace beyond is the ideal spot for morning coffee or evening drinks under the stars. Across the upper and lower levels, six flexible guest rooms sleep up to 14, from the king or twin master suite to a dedicated children's room sleeping four. When the day is done, sink into the outdoor hot tub or unwind in the sauna, both tucked away in this peaceful forest setting.

Property Location

Chalet Etoile des Neiges is perched in the peaceful Mussillon area of Méribel, surrounded by forest yet close to the heart of the resort. La Chaudanne, the main lift hub, is around a 3-minute drive, with the Morel chairlift even closer for a fast start to the skiing. Méribel Centre is a 3-minute drive or roughly a 10-minute walk, and a driver service is at your disposal when you stay on a catered basis.

Highly impressedOur stay with delicious mountain was special as it was to celebrate a special birthday!… we truly had a fantastic time, all is what we expected and a lot more. We were highly impressed with the staff. All very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. A huge thanks for a perfect holidayWe had a truly excellent and very highly recommended week with Delicious Mountain. The chalets, the staff, the food, the attention to detail and, of course, the skiing - everything was 5 stars. Our first stay....but certainly not our last. When everything is so well thought out, it is often the details that stand out. Things like the welcoming hot tub, the delicious afternoon cakes to return to after a day on the slopes, the cosy TV room for an after dinner film, the diffuser that delivers lovely scent to your bedroom, the bed covers turned down when you head to bed and the carefully selected cosmetics left ready for use in your bathroom. A huge thanks to Tom and Harry for the great pre-trip organisation, to chefs Mike and Kylie for the amazing food, to Nicole and Izzy for the superb hosting and to James and Kev for driving us to and from the slopes.

Everything continued to impressWhat a fantastic experience. We have just returned from our first delicious mountain trip (and certainly not our last) and absolutely loved the whole experience. We had great initial communications with Tom and Harry who were quick to answer our questions and make all the arrangements for a successful trip. On arrival (after an efficient Delicious Mountain transfer) everything continued to impress. All the staff were both extremely friendly and very very professional. The chalet accommodation was superb and the chef and host teams of Mike and Nicole and Izzy and Kylie created amazing meals (paired with a superb selection of wines!). Of course, if you visit Meribel you also have the world's largest ski area on your doorstep and drivers James and Kev made sure we got to and from the slopes to make the most of the great snow (and sun). Nothing was too much trouble and we really couldn't have asked for more. A huge thanks to all the DM team and we look forward to our next visit. Very very highly recommended.

One to use for an amazing stayThis chalet has everything you need to make your skiing holiday one to remember. The food and the quality of the service is of the highest level, nothing is too much trouble and we're incredible with the kids in accommodating their food needs and making their evenings enjoyable. One area which to me would help improve would be to have tv in the bedrooms and more flexibility in the transport to and from the slopes. Would recommend this company to friends and family. We are hoping to return next year for another amazing stay.

Amazing everything!We finally managed to make it to the chalet this year after being postponed due to covid. Harry was very accommodating in making sure we could move our dates to make it work for us! The chalet was so lovely, warm, homely and Harry and the team made sure we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The food by Dylan was divine, and perfectly portioned (not too small but not too big!) and was incredibly delicious. One of the best things about the service was the small touches - such as when Garants would make the bed after we came up for breakfast and made sure we had water by our bed at night. These little things made all the difference! Overall, we all had a superb time at the chalet. Harry made sure we had our tests ready to fly back, bought the ski fitting to the chalet, and delivered our lift passes to us at breakfast! He made everything so easy. I hope we come again next year!

A really big thank youWe arrived last Saturday the day before France closed all the ski slopes and ordered a total lock down of all non essential businesses. The team at DM looked after us really well. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time even though we were not allowed to ski. We really enjoyed our 2 days there (should have been 7 days). The food and wines were excellent - special thanks to Sam & Jordan. My wife thought the lemon tart was to die for !! Also a very big thank you to Louise for helping us get back to Geneva and London. Having now tasted the delights of Delicious Mountain we can't wait to return for a full week next year. Another outstanding stay with Delicious MountianIf you are coming from the USA with an Epic ski pass to Trois Vallees, you MUST stay at Delicious Mountain! This is our third trip to Meribel and third stay with the team at Delicious Mountain. We keep coming back for the incredible hospitality of the team, beautiful chalets, great company from folks from around the world, and the exceptionally delicious meals. If you haven't experienced a catered chalet, you must go to Delicious Mountain!! (While we haven't stayed anywhere else, we hear that Delicious Mountain is far and above other Chalets.) You won't find anything like it in the USA! Using our Epic (Vail Resorts) Pass was super easy. We were able to get 7 days! of skiing in the Trois Vallees included on our pass. Skiing in the Trois Vallees is an amazing experience - sunny skies, endless trails, fast lifts. But, there is so much more to do in Meribel! Snowshoeing, restaurants, window shopping, cross country skiing... its a beautiful spot for some R&R. Thanks to the DM team for another wonderful holiday!

Deserves 6 starsThis really is the best catered chalet we've stayed in, the hospitality was warm, friendly and attentive especially as Brad had a bad skiing accident day one! The food was truly delicious and not too much or too little. Every attention to detail was paid with lots of lovely touches with snacks for the slopes and a beer cooler by the hot tub!- fantastic holiday Delicious Mountain we will be back!

Pleasure was all oursWe are more returners, last time Chalet La Chouette, it has been superb and a pleasure. The food is delicious, thoughtful and brings all guests together, resulting in laughter, fun, shared experiences and the feeling of being well looked after. Getting on to the slopes couldn't be easier, lift passes and well selected ski organised on arrival, drop off and pick-up is superbly organised, fun and friendly again well looked after with friendly checks to ensure everything needed. Ski trip week before ChristmasIt's very rare that the only things you can say about a hotel or chalet are positives! Amazing staff, amazing location and amazing food. I'd recommend Delicious Mountain to anyone! If you come as a group of you'll have a great time and if you come alone or with just another person you're guaranteed to meet lovely people who are keen to ski (or snowboard) and have a great time. There really isn't anything negative to say about my week away apart from the fact that it all seemed to go by far too quickly and with all the amazing food a diet will definitely be essential after Christmas!

Delicious indeed, and lives up to the promiseThe service is spot on - the informal style you'd expect in a chalet with nothing seeming too much effort. Lots of little touches like snack packs, sunscreen, tissues, maps etc available, and a genuine desire to give everyone the best experience possible was definitely evident. If you call yourself Delicious Mountain you have to deliver on the food, and they definitely did. There was a large spread of cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurts etc every morning with a different hot option each day, even on the host day off. The cakes for afternoon tea were superb and came with a savoury option too. The meals themselves began with canapes, and each night had a different paired wine which was a nice tough, although you could drink something else if you desired. We were always pretty full, but still managed to fit in the cheese at the end. Wine and beer were always available to help yourself as well as various other drinks like port, prosecco and the like. This is certainly the best we have eaten on a skiing holiday, which was exactly what we wanted!! A top experience that deserves the praise.

Off the charts goodThis was a last minute booking but what a find. Amazing lovely staff - your team are just so nice happy and welcoming it became home from home (actually much better than home!). There were lots of extra treats like nibbles for the mountain, sun cream, lovely apres ski teas and homemade cakes. A lovely array of wines and drinks on tap both in the chalet and at the great hot tub with an esky full of drinks Wine and food so much better than the average gap year chalet fayre and the accommodation is 5 star and make no mistake Delicious Mountain are top of a very compete game and know how to maintain happy staff, superb food and great accommodation. Nothing was too much of a problem and they also ordered snow when we wanted it so it doesn't get any better than that ....we will be back ( if allowed!)

Amazing food, excellent service, has to be the bestWhere to start, I think its all in the name the food here is absolutely excellent restaurant quality every night with the little personal touches which made the stay that much more. Great wines every evening which a selection of red and white to compliment each meal and then a cheese platter for those who are still hungry. Daily breakfast specials which on some days rival the evening meal. The value and service is that good, free transportation in the morning and evenings although the location is close enough to walk if your back very late. Very comfy bed and modern en suite, great outdoor Jacuzzi with sauna for after a hard day on slopes. Would I go back? Probably the easiest yes ever.

Fantastic Ski BreakChalet Belmont is fabulous! Beautiful building, great location and most importantly, fantastic staff and service! It certainly took any of the hassle out of a ski holiday - the food was beautiful for every meal, wine pairings were delicious, taxi service was a great addition and the surroundings were exquisite. It simply can't be beaten and I look forward to going again soon and enjoying a beer from the hot tub looking over the valley!

Can't recommend them more - will return!Had a great week with friends --- the entire team from Delicious Mountain was amazing and made our holiday memorable. Everything was on time, well planned, and they managed to exceed expectations even without a heads up. I got engaged on Monday afternoon and when we returned to the house there was champagne, rose petals, and special cakes waiting for us (one of our housemates called Lou at 3pm and by 6pm everything was done same day). Can't recommend them more - will return!

Best chalet we've stayed inThe team working in our chalet (George, Elsa, Ashley, Lou and Stu) were absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely food (and a choice of sweet and savoury teatime treats which was a great touch) and carefully chosen wine. A very free and easy attitude and Elsa and George coped really well with two of us being pescetarians. Lovely breakfasts with a daily special (like eggs Benedict and kedgeree) which they even offered on our last morning where other chalets would send you off with a wave and some pastries! The chalet was spacious so we could get away from each other if we wanted! However we all got on really well, helped no doubt by the pleasant and caring atmosphere. One thing I particularly liked was the generous storage space for clothes - a proper wardrobe and plenty of drawers, unlike the usual dark little cubby hole provided by nost chalets. Really enjoyable- highly recommended.

Christmas Ski at Delicious MountainThis was our second Christmas visit to Delicious Mountain in Méribel and again they did not disappoint! As a large family/friends group of 10, with an age range of tweens/teens, young adults to older mum and dads, the attentive hosts provided outstanding accommodation, food, transport and help/advice to make it a truly magical Christmas for all. It was a thoroughly relaxing holiday spent skiing and eating fine food -never to be forgotten! The chalet was superbly located for walking into Méribel also. Absolute luxuryI have stayed with other standard chalets companies in Meribel over the years, and thought I'd treat myself to Delicious Mountain this year. The service I received during my stay was absolutely exceptional! The staff were outstanding, incredibly friendly and would go out of their way to ensure your stay was perfect. The breakfast, canapés and dinners were just fantastic, to the point I watched what I was eating in the day to ensure I could enjoy the food back at the chalet! Fabulous stay!We were welcomed by a warm fire, a glass of champagne, the other guests who had already arrived, and of course the wonderful Harry alongside his awesome team. This set the tone for the full week! Each morning started with a wonderful breakfast spread, continental and cooked on request. Freshly baked bread and pastries every morning. After each day of skiing (or apres skiing!!) we were welcomed back to the chalet with afternoon tea comprising of a savoury and a sweet option with a lovely cup of tea or coffee. At around 7pm each evening we were served canapés which were delicious, some of our favourites were the sweetcorn waffle and the mini bloody marys! After the canapés, we were served a three course dinner with wine that was perfectly paired with the food each night. The food was always delicious, we couldn't pick a favourite meal but the duck was AWESOME as was the roast beef on the Sunday evening! We often talk about how delicious it was a cannot wait to come again this year to experience it all again. Overall the food and wine was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for more. We were also really impressed with the accommodation. The L'Occitane products that were in the bathroom were a little luxurious surprise and smelt beautiful! Overall, we had an amazing holiday. Everything and more had been thought about from the food and wine to being offered lifts into town and back. We were impressed with everything and we can't wait to come and stay again very soon! Super family tripThis was our first time skiing for a few years and we decided to treat ourselves. We were not disappointed! The chalet was large, warm and very comfortable. We had 2 pairs of hosts over the week and we thought Dylan and Garance in particular, were outstanding. Dylan is a great chef who takes real pride in his food. The only thing in addition we would have liked was a large cake at tea time! The hot tub with its views was a great addition at the end of the day. Always hot and ready with a good supply of drinks nearby. Great pick up and drop off service to the slopes. Might be helpful to pick up from 3pm for those that want a slightly earlier finish? A big thank you to Harry for being so accommodating with our daughter which made the holiday for us. We would definitely return!

What an amazing stayA truly magical stay with old friends and new. New to delicious mountain this winter we were truly blown away. The exceptional service provided is second to none and that extra touch goes a long way! I felt I didn't even have to think for myself. The hosts, chefs and drivers were great and really went the extra mile! The views especially from the hot tub are incredible. The food is to die for!! We will certainly be back, thank you Harry, Dylan, Victoria, Garance, Louisa and Sam!

Can't be betterI stayed there from the 4th of December 2021 for a week. It was the first week of the season and there was nothing wrong at all with the stay - remarkable as they did have new staff and of course you would expect that they needed to get into the swing first. Its a perfect place and the staff could not be more helpful - I stayed in the past in 5 Star hotels in Austria & France in some resorts but this is for certain the Best. You feel like be part of it all and the pure luxury of this place could not be topped. Food was out of this world, friendly staff, quick into to town, whirl pool & sauna ... heaven !!!

Wonderful hostsThe welcome is relaxed and sincere, the food was brilliant, a fabulous meal every night with paired wines or beers, and alternatives were prepared for special dietary requirements. The breakfasts were also great, fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurts, and a cooked option. There were endless rides to and from the slopes and local restaurants, never too much trouble. Best property in MeribelThis was our second year in a row staying with Delicious Mountain and it never disappoints. The food is outstanding, the ambience great, and hospitality is next level. Even when we stayed Saturday to ski the staff still picked us up on the mountain to get us back to the house to get our shuttle back to Geneva. They answered all of our questions, and helped make this the most homey experience possible. All the details are attended to and everyone always wants to come back!

Wonderful holidayThe chalet is spacious, set over four floors and has comfortable clean accommodation. The hot tub has a fantastic setting with mountain view, the sauna was great and the kids used the cinema room regularly. However, what sets it apart is the wonderful food and excellent customer service from the team. Every evening was a culinary delight prepared by Dylan and served by Harry our host. Backed by the superb Ash, Lou and Stu, who ferried us back and forth to the slopes by minivan. Our party of 15, 6 adults and 9 kids had a really wonderful holiday. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Harry and all the team.

Leaving is the only negativeWow...just wow. You'll quickly realise why there's 100% 5* reviews. Blown away by our stay at this perfect chalet. The entire team are so welcoming, waking up each day to amazing breakfasts and coffee. Coming home each evening to hot showers, hot tub, sauna, canapes, bubbly and outstanding dinners every.single.night. Rooms and beds are extremely comfortable too. Centre of Meribel is an easy walk or the team give you a lift. I could waffle on for ages about how amazing this place is but just book it...except for the week we'll be bring all out mates next year. Yeaaaaaa! Thanks Delicious Mountain, you absolute LEGENDS!

Great chaletIf you like the 'Chalet' experience definitely book here. Not ski in ski out but free taxi service makes this not a problem. Great amenities, really strong food, good wines. Best thing by far was the staff who were simply the best Chalet team I have come across.

Return every year!!!A critical group of mountain medics returned again to this outstanding base for our course. A little oasis of joy and stunning staff and serviceWe came on a last minute lucky dip brexit day deal with another couple. How lucky were we! Arrived to find a friendly group of other guests who were good fun. Lou,Stu and the team were off the charts good and made it feel like a luxury house party. The food was stunning, the wines delicious and the cakes and little extras we were given throughout our stay were such nice generous touches. We loved the chalet which was in such good condition, so clean and tidy. The hot tub with stunning views in blue sky after a day on the slopes with a cold beer. As Arnie would say "we will be back!" Thank you Lou and Stu and your lovely staff.

Look No FurtherDelicious Mountain are what it's all about. A great chalet, beautiful food but most of all the warmest and generous chalet hosts you can find. Delicious in every respect!Wow. What a place. I have stayed in a chalet before which was ok but this place just ramped it up to 10/10. There is nothing the DM team can do to improve my stay there. The hospitality was simply amazing with everyone so warm friendly and lots of laughter. Ollie thanks for all the good advice you gave me after I experienced my "yard sale" it worked! Hope to see the lovely Team and the 10 star stay service and friendliness again next year! You guys made my holiday really special.

Delicious by name, deliciously outstanding by natureThe most awesome, fabulous, stunning chalet skiing holiday ever. And that's official. From the welcome at the door on Day 1 to the farewell at the tearful (for us) end with so many treats, surprises, dinners and breakfasts with copious gallons (for us lushes at least!) of wine and spirits thrown in. The hosts were all outstanding, fun, cheery, helpful and a delight to be around. The chalet is stunning as are the surroundings. Thank you Lou and Stu, Ciara, Ollie and Ash and the rest of the Delicious team for making it the best skiing holiday ever. Can we come back next week?

Great team and amazing foodWe are a big group of keen skiers, returning every January. The chalet is top notch with amazing views and facilities. Food (table d'hote, with special diets catered for) is indeed delicious, especially the canapés.The team is friendly and flexible, helping cheerfully with everything to get you on the mountain quickly: a van, ski passes, the right equipment and even stashes of chocolate raisins for your pockets.

Fabulous Chalet and StaffBook it, you won't be disappointed. My wife and I stayed in room 1, the bed was large and comfortable, it had a separate bath and shower. This is the master bedroom taking up the whole width of the chalet on the top floor. The views were amazing. The lounge and dining area are spacious and the food and wine top class. The best thing about this chalet holiday was the people. Lou, Stu, Ollie, Ciara and Ashley were amazing. All you could wish for chalet hosts, happy, helpful and great fun.

Excellent ChristmasThanks to Stu, Lou, Ollie, Ciara and Ashley for making this a wonderful Christmas holiday for our family. It was our first Christmas in the Alps and nothing we requested was too much trouble. Accommodation was very comfortable, living areas very chilled and relaxed with lovely views, hot tub enjoyed hugely and food excellent. Ollie and Ciara are excellent hosts and anyone staying for the rest of the season are lucky to have them. Stu and Lou's attention to detail is exceptional and Delicious mountain is the result of their hard work. The skiing across the three valleys is immense so plenty for all. Thank you for looking after us all so well, especially the matriarch of the family! Have a great season and hopefully we will be back soon.

Amazing (again!)!We keep choosing Delicious Mountain for our ski holidays because their chalets are wonderful, the food is totally delicious and the service is exceptional. Every year, we come away even more impressed that the last. Lou, Stu and team keep making improvements to the whole experience. This year we loved, among other things: the rearranged dining room; the addition of a plate warmer for the breakfast buffet; the greater range of on-mountain snacks (with more eco-friendly bags!) and the new mugs. We were also very impressed by the way they made our group's two toddlers so welcome and provided bedding, highchairs and food for them. We recommend Delicious Mountain very highly and would like to thank the whole team for an absolutely brilliant ski holiday!

Perfect in every wayMy wife and I booked this amazing chalet for our honeymoon. Both of us have done many trips to the snow in the past but we wanted something a little more special this season. We were not disappointed!! Our trip was perfect in every way. Lou picked us up at the bus station and drove us to the Chalet where Jordan and Katie welcomed us with a glass of wine and our evening meal. It was more than perfect after our very long and delayed trip. Jordan, Katie and Rowena were perfect hosts throughout the entire trip. Nothing was too much hassle for them, from advice on where to head up the mountain to the delicious cakes, canapes, and meals they prepared for us. We even managed to hit a few laps of the park with them and by the end of the week, they felt more like friends than our hosts. The chalet is not ski-in, ski-out but with Stuart and co. on hand to take us to the lifts in the morning and pick us up at the end of the day, it made it so easy.

Amazing chalet, amazing company, amazing resort!!!I stayed here in early February 2018 and I couldn't have asked for a better week in the 3 Valleys. Delicious Mountain are a truly great company and understand the meaning of providing a quality and professional service - everything from the chalet, the food, the people, the service and the area knowledge was first class - nothing is too much trouble for Delicious Mountain. The chalet is beautiful - comfortable and spacious with great facilities and a view that is second to none. The service Lou, Stu and their fabulous team provide is superb (and their culinary skills put mine to shame) - I will certainly be returning to stay with them again and would 100% recommend this company - you will not be disappointed!
